ABSTRACT

Typhoid appears to be a disease that has been associated with man since the first appearance Of hominids and ii in ay ye first infected human  ancestors anywhere from 200.000 to two million years ago. Typhoid  fever is an infectious feverish disease with severe symptoms in the digestive system in the second phase o the illness. Typhoid fever is a serious disease, it can be life threatening, but antibiotics are an effective treatment. The disease is transmitted from human to human via food or drinking water, and therefore mainly hygienic and sanitary conditions that determine its spread. There is no doubt that more than half of the worlds population is at risk of typhoid fever especially in the developing world and. the proportion can increase each year because of deteriorating health systems. access to drugs and better services. Already Europe has been able to control the fever which s caused by an infection within the bacterium Salmonella typhi.
