ABSTRACT

The main objective of management techniques in any, organization is to assist the management decision making and investment. The extent to which the. management can control or oversee the running of the firm and investment depends slightly on the management techniques adopted The manager considers different techniques in evaluating the problems and interest of the firm to make re!ernt dcsicns at anj.' point in time. The study sought to find out the problems militating against the ejfectiveness of decision making in the firm with a view to proffering solutions. The research methodology adopted for the study was the survey method because the topic studied falls under the social science research. The main instrument for data collection was the questionnaire. The questionnaire was structured in such a way to facilitate response as well as data analysis. The data were measured through nominal scale, hence the variables are qualitative in nature. Simple tabular summation and percentage computation were used
