ABSTRACT

Social corporated responsibility invokes an organization giving hack some of its profit by way of project execution in the 1ost community. This study was carried out to examine the impact of corporate social responsibility on organizational growth with reference to Unilever Plc, Aba. lo support the statistical analysis primary data was generated through administration of questionnaire in a field survey. The primary data was analyzed using descriptive statistics, multiple ordinary least Squares (OLS) regression analysis, binery profit regression analysis and Pearson Correlation Analysis. The result of the statistical analysis indicated that worker welfare, scholarship to indigen students, sinking of borehole in the community, etc had significant impact on growth of Unilever Plc, Aba. The result also indicated that there was a positive and significant relationship between corporate social responsibility and the growth Unilever Plc. It was recommended others that organization should have well-designed corporate social responsibility guiding their operations, there should he equity in distribution of projects to every section of the community, and corporate social responsibility should be integrated into the overall community relation strategy.
