ABSTRACT

This research work was conducted to evaluate marketing strategies as a tool for survival of retail stores in Umuahia, Abia State. A multistage sampling technique was adopted to select the respondents and structured questionnaire was administered to collect the data. Descriptive statistics and correlation model were sued to analyze the data. The result revealed that there is strong relationship between marketing strategy and customer call (loyalty) in retail marketing. The most effective marketing strategy found is price discount and customer relationship management.
