ABSTRACT

Today 's organizations are operating and competing in an information age Information has become a key resource of most organizations, economies, and societies. Indeed, an organization 's basis for competition has changed from tangible products to intangible information. More and more organizations believe that quality information is critical to their success. A sample size of fifty six respondents 'was choosen from Arab Contractors (22 respondents) and Zerock Contractors (36 respondents) via purpose sampling techniques. The findings from the study revealed that there is no relationship between accounting information system and decision making in construction companies as a useful resource tool is germane to the contemporary world, particularly firms and it could broaden knowledge and improve the quality of decision made by firms. Therefore, construction companies should utilize accounting information system in plaining and making certain decisions. Also, firms should develop accounting information system vihich is cost effective as well as method which will appeal to senior management.
