Efficient Application Of Tax Money On The Social Economic Development Of Abia State

ABSTRACT

The study was carried out critically to examine efficient applicat:on of tax money on the social economic development of Abia state. The purpose of the study is to ascertain the efficient the efficient application of tax money on the social economic development of Abia state by the government. Furthermore whether the revenue generated by the government through tax money is applied or use efficiently in other to affect the social and economic well being of the citizens positively. The survey of the study covers four local government area of Abia state, which include includes Osisioma Nga LGA, Ikwuano LGA, Aba north LGA, and Umuahia South LGA. This was a survey research and the design was a survey method of obtaining information. The instruments used by the researcher in collection of data were oral interview and the researcher designed fifteen (1 5) item structural questions. A total of one hundred and fifty (150) questionnaires were administered to respondent from the four local government area of Abia state, one hundred and twenty were properly filled and returned for analysis oral interview were also granted to some respondents.
