ABSTRACT
According to the research so far, the findings are as follows: The physical composition of beeswax products are of good quality than that of paraffin wax products. (The melting point of the beeswax product is very high 62.0 °C compared to that of the paraffin wax which is 1ow46 °C) which encourages people to substitute the paralTm wax products with that of the beeswax. The chemical composition of the beeswax samples are higher than that of the paraffin wax apart from the fact that they share the same solubility level. The effect of vegetation zone on the beeswax samples brought about some slight differences in the colour, flash point, specific gravity etc. the derived savannah and mangrove had the same colour (yellow) while the rainforest have a yellow-brown colour. The best wax in terms of standard quality requirement is the beeswax product, having a higher melting point which makes it last longer than that of paraffin wax, it also have a very high viscosity than that of the paraffin wax which makes it more thicker. The beeswax products should be introduced to cosmetic industries as it is used as skin moisturizer.
